ABOUT VICTORIA MADJAR
My name is Victoria Madjar and I am a Yoga Alliance certified Yoga and Meditation Instructor as well as a certified Breath Coach living and teaching in the NY metro area. I support people of all ages, backgrounds and professions to find back to their essence and manage stress in healthier ways through the art of yoga. Beyond that I challenge everyone - who's open to receive - to challenge the way we relate to spirituality. I believe that it is my purpose to spread mindfulness through the practice of yoga and shed light onto spirituality in a way never seen before. All with the intent to help people [re-] connect to their authentic self through the alignment of body, heart and mind.
Through my own personal life experience of growing up in a chronically stressed environment as well as working many years in the health tech space, I know what it means to be under constant pressure and stress, and how it negatively affects the body, mind and soul. I've come to experience what it means to feel burned out, from too much ‘functioning’ and too little purpose. I have a good sense of what it feels like to be "out of whack". The longing for more energy, rest and rejuvenation, but at high-stress times it simply seems almost unattainable.
With years of teaching experience and more than a decade of my own personal Yoga practice I would describe myself as a knowledgeable Mindfulness Teacher, who’s heart is overflowing with passion to make a positive impact in this world. I do offer most [group] classes in the NYC metro area, but you will also occasionally catch me teach internationally (mostly German region). Virtual and private classes available. If you are situated in NYC metro area I can accommodate in-person at my Long Island City home studio or in comfort of your own home.
Through my career as mindfulness teacher and coaching director at Noom, by working with numerous individuals, I've come to witness many positive life transformations. All of which started with a teeny tiny spark and the free will to wanting to change for better. Followed by intention setting, positive impact and gradual alignment between body, heart and mind. What a beautiful symphony!
