Personal Story
I'm a passionate yoga meditation teacher and breathwork coach dedicated to spreading the joy of yoga to people of all ages and backgrounds. My own yoga practice started in 2011 at a local studio in my hometown Hamburg, Germany. Back then it was depression that got me into yoga and had me rethink the idea of wellbeing.
In 2016, I decided to move to New York City, where I received my 200-hrs Vinyasa Yoga Certification through Laughing Lotus Flow University in 2019. Growing up in a chronically stressed environment and living in the mega metropolitan area of New York taught me a great lesson about this human life, health and spirit. I know what it means to be under constant stress and how it can negatively impact your health. I have experienced what it means to feel burned out from too much functioning and not enough purpose.
I have been teaching and studying, counting 5+ years of teaching experience. My mission is to create a welcoming and inclusive space where individuals can explore the physical and mental benefits of yoga and through that wake up to the lesson of love. With a focus on mindfulness and self-care, I offer a variety of classes and workshops tailored to meet the needs of a diverse community. Over the past years, I've been teaching at various public studios including Power Yoga Germany, Laughing Lotus, Humming Puppy, Abhaya Yoga and residential locations across Manhattan. Today, I partner with the best clients and businesses such as Sony Music, MetLife, Noom, Rent the Runway, JetBlue, Estee Lauder and HealthFitness, to bring more wellness to corporate spaces.
My classes are a breath & body-based meditation practice, creating space and freedom in the body, mind and heart through physical movements linked with the breath. My teachings are heavily influenced by my teacher from Germany, Eric Bennewitz and world renown power yoga teacher Bryan Kest from Santa Monica, California. Through them, I learned that when connecting Movement with Breath, a workout can become healing. Other relevant teachers are: Thích Nhất Hạnh, Manoj Dias and Jay Shetty. I would love to guide you on your journey back to yourself.

Vinyasa Yoga Level 2 @ Abhaya Yoga Brooklyn, New York
This class provides a full spectrum, upbeat practice to music. The class will move at a steady pace, building internal heat while following the guide of the breath. A class geared to mid/experienced level practitioners.
